Dr. Julia McNab

B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D, Grad. Dip. Applied Statistics

Julia is the Director of Intuit Regulatory Limited, which she established in 2015.

Julia has a background in molecular biology research in the UK, and 18 years of experience in veterinary medicines regulatory affairs. This has included working at the UK regulatory authority (VMD) and in industry.

She immigrated to New Zealand in 2007 and has been involved in the animal health industry since then, with roles in regulatory affairs, product development and marketing at a large multinational. She is a big believer in ongoing learning, and has recently completed completed a Graduate Diploma in Statistics from Massey University.

Since setting up Intuit Regulatory, Julia has been privileged to work with a wide range of businesses, both NZ-based and international, and continues to grow and diversify Intuit’s offering. Julia is passionate about our Ag. industry and motivated to support that industry to develop and thrive.

Dr. Helene Baigent

B.V.Sc., M. Epidemiology

A rural New Zealand upbringing ignited an interest in the animal health industry, so in 2005 Helene graduated from Massey University with a bachelors in Veterinary Science. She has enjoyed a diverse range of clinical roles in both the companion animal and rural sectors, working in New Zealand and abroad.

In 2014, Helene completed a master’s degree in veterinary epidemiology at the Royal Veterinary College in London. This was a highly quantitative programme with a large emphasis on biostatistics and study design. In 2015 she joined her husband in Doha and took a role at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). The time at HMC included working in the Strategic Planning Department, Business Intelligence Unit and on the executive team of a 430 bed hospital as Assistant Executive Director of Business Development

With the outbreak of COVID, Helene and her husband made the decision to move back to New Zealand. In April 2021 she began her role as regulatory specialist at Intuit.
